The Department of Geography in our college holds a scientific symposium on the demographic waste of young people

The Department of Geography in our college held a scientific symposium entitled (The demographic wastage of young people “6-14” in the Karkh district) in which Dr. Muhammad Sahib Abd al-Latif and Dr. Hassan Ali Najm lectured. It contributes to the treatment of waste, and it deals with a number of axes, including educational waste and social waste, as well as health waste and economic waste. Recommendations came to address this problem, the most prominent of which are activating the compulsory education law and the working age law, as well as revitalizing the role of the family in raising and following up their children and encouraging children by watching some Recreational and educational programs and the provision of a suitable environment for children enrolled in elementary and middle school.
