About the office
The Advisory Office was established at Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities on 9/8/2011, in implementation of University Order No. (1A/5274). The office consists of the Dean of the College, the Administrative Assistant, a number of department heads, and the Director of the Advisory Office (the office is affiliated with the Presidency of the University of Baghdad). At the beginning of its establishment, the office was responsible for conducting English proficiency exams at the level of Iraq for applicants for admission to postgraduate studies in the scientific and humanities branches, holding developmental courses in the English language, preparation courses for the proficiency exam for students, and conducting written translation work.

Conducting all types of written translation from Arabic to English - Holding free courses for students and graduates - Language safety courses - English language proficiency courses - Computer proficiency courses - Recitation and intonation rules courses - Translating documents and all official books - Assisting researchers and graduate students in statistical analysis within a specialized work team - Holding specialized courses for TOEFL applicants for those wishing to take the university exam from outside the university in prior coordination with the office. - Providing scientific consultations - Conducting abstract research for graduate students - Conducting computer and English language proficiency courses - Translating abstracts of theses and dissertations into English and Arabic with printing
