Ibn Sina for Continuing Education and E-Learning Unit is one of the administrative units at the College of Education, Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences. It was established according to the university order No. 21713 on 12/9/2019, and according to the same order, the unit’s tasks, duties, vision, and goals were defined as follow:-

The Ibn Sina E-Learning Unit is one of the newly developed units at the college of Education that is focused on supporting e-learning, training, and teaching activities by utilizing modern technologies. Endorsing and encouraging excellence in the fields of teaching, education, and other academic activities. 3.The Ibn Sina E-Learning Unit supports the college’s educational role by adding new technological dimensions to the formal education within the framework of the university’s ambitious policy. It is also working to develop and support the skills of faculty members to use and benefit from modern E- courses at the international educational platform network and raise students’ efficiency in using them and encourage them to self-learn.

The Ibn Sina E-Learning Unit aims to support faculty members and students and support them in utilizing and developing communication and information technologies to improve the level of educational service provided by the college to students and to serve the community.

Disseminating the E-Learning cultural at the college of Education for human science. Assisting faculty members in converting their regular in-class courses into online courses and building and help them in delivering those courses successfully. Presenting and organizing online training courses and workshops for faculty and staff members. Supervising and updating the college website. Supervising, developing, and updating the websites of the departments at the college on the Internet. Assisting the faculty members to prepare their Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and their electronic websites. Assisting the faculty members to make their own official E-mails.

Training and assisting the faculty members on how to use the online-education platforms. Build and maintain an online courses. Build and maintain an online tests. Online-lectures Recording Service.
