About the college laboratories:-

1. Introduction

The Computer Laboratories are one of the administrative units of the College of Education ibn Rushd for Human Sciences. They play a significant role in providing students with sufficient information and practical experience in the use of electronic systems. The laboratories aim to train students in computer skills and the use of various computer applications, such as Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), as well as the use of the Internet, electronic classrooms, and methods of joining and utilizing them. The laboratories are used for teaching students at a rate of one practical hour per week.

2. Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the Laboratories

Vision of the Laboratories:

To provide the community with qualified teaching staff (graduates) and postgraduate students who possess fundamental computer skills and proficiency in computer applications, such as various Microsoft Office programs and Internet usage, as well as modern teaching methods that enable them to transfer these basic skills and competencies to their students.

Mission of the Laboratories:

To train students in computer skills and the use of various computer applications, such as Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Internet applications, and the use of electronic classrooms and methods of joining them.

Objectives of the Laboratories:

To enable students to implement computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, develop computer usage skills, and utilize the Internet for academic purposes, including the preparation of graduation research projects, as well as learning how to join electronic classrooms and enhance communication between teaching staff and students.

Geography Department laboratories, numbering 2, under the supervision of Eng. Firas Saadallah Geographic techniques laboratory for preliminary studies Computer laboratory (geographic information systems) for preliminary studies An overview of the Geography Department laboratories Teaching students how to use climatological measuring devices Displaying devices for measuring climatic elements, as well as how daily, Asian, monthly and annual data for these climatic elements are recorded and also teaching students how to use modern electronic devices.
