Under the patronage of the Dean of the Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Alawi Sader Jazea, and under the guidance and supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Wahid Jiyas, and with the efforts and implementation of the Media and Government Communications Division, an internal audio broadcast station was inaugurated at the Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities, coinciding with the end-of-year exams for the 2024-2025 academic year.

It is worth noting that this work was closely monitored by the Assistant Dean, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Wahid Jiyas, who stated: “The Media and Government Communications Division has been technically, technologically, and logistically equipped with special audio transmission equipment and devices to suit the atmosphere of the college and campus. Directions, guidance, and instructions are broadcast within the college to our dear students, providing them with media awareness via the internal audio broadcast station. This is intended to deliver guidance and instructions to students in the gardens and corridors within the college.”

Jiyas added, “The purpose of the audio broadcast is to increase the academic awareness of our dear students through the guidelines, regulations, and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as the Presidency of the University of Baghdad.” He noted that the radio broadcasts the recitation of the Holy Quran, the national anthem, and instructions and recommendations for students.

At the end of his remarks, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Wahid Jiyas, congratulated the college on this important achievement, which represents a new addition to its valuable cultural landmarks.
