The activities of our college’s diamond jubilee celebration, on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of its founding, took place on Sunday, February 18, 2024, amid a high-level presence, led by the generous patronage of the honorable Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and the supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the respected Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, In the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ensaf, and the implementation of the honorable Dean of our college, Professor Dr. Allawi Sader Jaza’a, as the ceremony began by requesting permission from Professor Dr. Ahmed Abd Hussein Al-Fartusi, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Centenary Ceremony.
After that, the ceremony’s activities began with the divination of Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Wadhid, after reciting the Qur’an and playing the national anthem, everyone stood to recite Surat Al-Fatihah out of mercy for the martyrs of Iraq.
The welcoming paragraph began for the Dean of the College, in which he mentioned the importance of this day and the signs and flags of this College and welcomed his distinguished guests. Then came the speech of the representative of the Prime Minister, Dr. Arif Al-Saadi, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Cultural Affairs, stated in it that the importance of celebrating this centenary means celebrating the history of the Iraqi state, and he congratulated everyone on this blessed day.
After that, His Excellency the Minister took the stage congratulating and praising the importance of this college and this historical event, and His Excellency directed to the necessity of striving seriously to increase Global publishing in global repositories; ; Because this is of great importance in the progress of Iraqi universities in the approved international classifications, the role of the university president comes; To praise the efforts and steps that led to this blessed success, and to praise the organization’s efforts and the good production of this majestic scene. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Construction and Housing, the respected Professor Bengin Rikani, and a large gathering of university presidents, vice-chancellors, general directors, and deans.
