The Instructive Unit in our College held a seminar about the electronic blackmail as part of its series of the activities for the Instructive Units of all of the scientific departments in 25/5/2022 under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education /Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences professor Alawi Sadir Jazea (Ph D) .The representative of the national security agency and assistant professor Nadira Jamil Hammad (Ph D) the head of the instructive unit in the college talked in that seminar.
At the beginning of the seminar , the honorable Dean of the College delivered a preliminary speech warning the students of the dangers of all the social electronic means urging them to consult the Instructive Unit if they are blackmailed from anywhere so as to find suitable solutions through the representative of the national security agency in the university.
The seminar got at some recommendations, the most important of which is distrusting unknown people in the social communication sites and also not posting personal pictures in their letters and avoid giving personal data for unknown sources in the internet or telephone and avoid video chats with unknown people .The seminar got at some recommendations :
1-Distrusting the unknown people in social communication web sites.
2-Avoid putting personal pictures in the letters
3-Not giving personal data for unknown people in the phone or websites
4-Avoid video chats with ignorant characters
5-Avoid joining the porno or introduction sites
6-Not giving your personal phone number so that it is used for planting programs or taking personal pass words.
7-Do not be attracted by seductive beautiful pictures and be sure of the identity of the sender.
