Coinciding with the beginning of the new academic year, and as part of the College of Education Ibn Rushd for Humanities’ commitment to developing its educational environment and enhancing the academic and training services provided to students, the College has reopened the Geographic Technologies Laboratory in its newly renovated form, in addition to establishing a new Teaching Practice Laboratory. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening practical learning and supporting the educational process at the College.

This step was carried out under the direction of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jazaa, and followed up by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Abdulwahid Jayyas, as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to provide an advanced university environment that keeps pace with the requirements of modern education and supports students in developing their academic and practical skills.

The development of the Geographic Technologies Laboratory, equipped with modern technologies and facilities, is intended to strengthen the practical component of Geography studies and provide students with opportunities to benefit from contemporary geographic technologies and apply theoretical concepts in practical settings.

The Teaching Practice Laboratory also represents a valuable addition to the College’s educational infrastructure. It provides a dedicated training environment that contributes to developing students’ skills and better preparing them for the educational field, in line with the College’s objectives of preparing qualified teaching professionals capable of meeting the demands of the educational process.

The College emphasizes that the development of laboratories and the establishment of new educational facilities are part of its ongoing vision to enhance academic infrastructure, improve the quality of education, and provide an integrated learning environment that meets students’ needs and keeps pace with scientific and educational developments.
