As part of its efforts to strengthen the role of university psychological counseling and foster a safe and stable educational environment, the College of Education Ibn Rushd for Humanities at the University of Baghdad secured third place through its participation in the Third Forum of Guidance Units, held under the slogan “University Psychological Counseling: A Shared Responsibility for Building a Safe and Stable Educational Environment.” The forum was held at Al-Hurriya Hall at the College of Political Science.
The forum was held under the esteemed patronage of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hassan Al-Zughaybi.
During the forum, the College of Education for Ibn Rushd Humanities distinguished itself through its participation led by the Head of the Guidance Unit, Prof. Dr. Nadira Jameel Hamad. This distinguished participation culminated in a new achievement added to the College’s outstanding record of scientific and counseling activities and events.
At the conclusion of the event, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jazaa, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Abdulwahid Jayyas, received the members of the Guidance Unit in recognition of their efforts in representing the College and enhancing its standing.
This recognition reflects the College’s ongoing efforts to support university counseling, promote students’ mental well-being, and actively contribute to building a university environment characterized by stability, cooperation, and awareness.
