Based on the directives of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, and under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Abdulwahid Jayyas, the Student Activities Division of the College of Education for Humanities, Ibn Rushd, participated in the activities of the Tenth Arbaeen Visit Conference, organized by the University of Baghdad and the Middle Technical University in cooperation with the Karbala Center for Studies and Research.
The College’s participation was part of the photographic exhibition documenting the Arbaeen Visit, where it contributed an oil painting depicting Imam Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). The artwork conveyed symbolic meanings and profound human values inspired by the Battle of al-Taff, representing the ideals of sacrifice, selflessness, and loyalty.
The exhibition attracted notable interest from participants, researchers, and guests, featuring a collection of artworks and documentary photographs that reflected various aspects of the Arbaeen Visit and highlighted its humanitarian, cultural, and social dimensions.
This participation reflects the College of Education for Humanities, Ibn Rushd’s commitment to actively engaging in university, scientific, and cultural activities; contributing to the visual documentation and preservation of the scenes and events of the Arbaeen Visit; and strengthening cooperation and communication among academic, research, and cultural institutions.
