The University of Baghdad’s Ibn Rushd College of Education for Human Sciences has achieved a distinguished new academic milestone after Professor Dr. Suad Hadi Hassan Al-Taie, a faculty member in the Department of History, won first place in the Humanities category as part of the inaugural edition of the “Scientific Encyclopedia” initiative launched by the university under the patronage of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry’s Women’s Affairs Department.
This achievement came following a highly competitive scientific evaluation based on rigorous international standards, including the quality and impact of academic output, the number of research papers published in internationally indexed Scopus journals, and the scientific impact measured through the H-index on both Scopus and Google Scholar.
The accomplishment further reinforces the college’s standing as a leading academic institution that nurtures distinguished scholars who elevate Iraq’s name in international academic forums. It also highlights the pioneering role of Iraqi women in advancing scientific research within the fields of humanities.
In turn, the College Deanship and the Department of History extended their warmest congratulations and best wishes to Professor Al-Taie, wishing her continued success and further contributions in support of the educational and academic journey in Iraq.
