The Educational Unit for Peace Studies and Human Rights at the College of Education Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a student activity on the occasion of International Human Rights Day (10/12), which lasted for two days.
On the first day, the activity included a screening of a documentary film on peaceful coexistence and the mechanisms for promoting it. The workshop was opened by Professor Dr. Ghada Ali Hadi, who presented a comprehensive definition of the occasion and highlighted the role of educational institutions in consolidating the principles of peace and human rights. Meanwhile, Lecturer Dr. Omar Saadi Salim explained the objectives of this day in promoting understanding between the individual and oneself, as well as between the individual and their social environment.
