The College of Education Ibn Rushd for Humanities at the University of Baghdad has inaugurated a new classroom and an academic library for its Department of Islamic Education, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the learning environment and provide academic resources that support students and enhance educational standards.

The opening was carried out under the direction of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr Alaawi Sader Jazaa, and followed up through on-site supervision by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr Mohammed Abdulwahid Jayyas. The initiative forms part of the College’s plan to improve its infrastructure and provide a suitable university environment for students and faculty members.

The library houses a collection of academic books and references to support students in the Department of Islamic Education and advance their academic and research activities. The new classroom has also been equipped to meet the requirements of the educational process.

The College Deanship emphasised that the opening of these facilities reflects its continued commitment to developing academic departments and providing appropriate conditions for teaching and learning, in line with the University of Baghdad’s commitment to supporting higher education, scientific research, and student services.

This achievement reaffirms the College of Education Ibn Rushd for Humanities’ commitment to continuously developing its educational and academic facilities and improving the services provided to students and faculty members.
