Faculty Members from Ibn Rushd College Participate in the “Education Towards the Future – Jordan 2030” Conference
Professor Waleed Al-Dulaimi and Professor Suad Al-Taie, faculty members at the College of Education – Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated in the Second International Scientific Conference titled “Education Towards the Future – Jordan 2030.” The conference was held in Petra and organized jointly by Tafila Technical University and SIBAL Center for Studies and Consultations.
Their participation included presenting a research paper titled: “The Importance of Using Blended Learning in Iraqi Universities.” The study highlighted the significance of adopting blended learning as a strategic approach to enhance higher education in Iraq, discussing its main types, methods, and effective tools.
The researchers relied on a field study involving a sample of Iraqi university professors to explore the current implementation of blended learning, identifying key challenges and opportunities. They emphasized the need to strengthen technical infrastructure and provide training to ensure effective educational outcomes.
This conference serves as an important platform for exchanging experiences and insights on the future of education in the Arab world, particularly in light of the rapid digital transformation in the education sector.
