Professor Walid Abboud Muhammad Al-Dulaimi participated in the First London International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities, held in the United Kingdom at the University of Westminster, London, from April 12-14, 2025. He presented his research entitled: Realism and Internationality in Germany’s Foreign Policy (1871-1918)

(1871-1918)

The research addressed the significant shifts in the course of Germany’s foreign policy, from defensive realism, which sought to preserve the security and interests of Germany and the integrity of Europe until 1890, to an aggressive, expansionist globalism that contributed to the disruption of international relations, the division of the world into opposing camps, and the plunge of Germany into the First World War, leading to its defeat on all fronts in 1918.
