Symposium on the impact of drugs on society

A symposium was held at the Ibn Rushd College of Education for Human Sciences entitled (The Impact of Drugs on Society) in cooperation with the Training and Development Department of the National Security Service and the Narcotics Control Directorate. The symposium was moderated by Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Jabbar Obaid, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Fartusi, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, representing the Dean. As well as Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Baldawi, Head of the Arabic Language Department, and a group of professors and students. The symposium came out with recommendations:
– Stay away from social media that brings teenagers closer to drugs
2- Monitoring children
3- Do not give any drug to anyone without prescribing it
