The University of Baghdad Development and Rehabilitation Course continues. Hosted by the Ibn Rushd College of Education for the Humanities at the University of Baghdad, the course was organized by the Continuing Education Center at the parent university and attended by a number of department and unit officials at the Bab al-Muadham Colleges Complex. Assistant Professor Dr. Aws Mahmoud Muhammad lectured.
The course included lectures on strategic planning, which helps us understand where an individual or organization is going and how we will get there (strategic initiatives). It also included an introduction to the basics of work and its plans, and how to know we are on the right path (outcomes and evaluation). It also covered how to develop organizational structures, defined as a system of authority, responsibility, and relationships between organizational units, which determines the form and nature of the work required by an organization. In addition, the course included lectures on delegation of powers and its role in developing institutional performance, given the extreme importance of this topic and its role in developing institutional performance. On the other hand, the process of major change in the tasks of organizations and their transition from their classical role to a role characterized by development and progress, which in turn made these organizations more difficult and complex, in addition to the emergence of an important situation represented by the delegation of powers to authorities and departments within institutions and organizations in general.
