Under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Alawi Sader Jazaa, Dean of the College of Education Ibn Rushd for Humanities, University of Baghdad, and with the follow-up of Professor Dr. Nidhal Hanash Shabbar, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, graduate students enrolled in the master’s and doctoral programs at the college began the new academic year 2026–2027 on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, amid a welcoming atmosphere.
The start of the academic year is in accordance with the official academic calendar approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the commencement of the new academic year for graduate students at Iraqi universities.
The college, through all its academic departments, completed the necessary logistical and academic preparations, including preparing classrooms, organizing lecture schedules, and reviewing the records of admitted students and the relevant university orders to ensure the smooth continuation of the educational process from its first day.
