The Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities at the University of Baghdad discussed a master’s thesis entitled “The Effect of the Two Stars and a Wish Strategy on Achievement in Modern Kurdish Reading and the Development of Creative Thinking among Fourth-Year Preparatory School Female Students.” The thesis was presented by Wafaa Jawad Ali Mir, a researcher in the Department of Kurdish Language, specializing in Teaching Methods of the Kurdish Language.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mahabad Abdul Karim Ahmed, with Assistant Prof. Dr. Saroud Wali Ismail serving as a member and supervisor, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Sabah Jalil Khalil as a member. Assistant Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hassan Mohammed joined the committee as an external member from the College of Arts at Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq University.
The study aimed to investigate the effect of the Two Stars and a Wish Strategy on students’ achievement in Modern Kurdish Reading and its role in developing creative thinking among fourth-year preparatory school female students.
The study concluded that the Two Stars and a Wish Strategy had a positive impact on improving students’ academic achievement in Modern Kurdish Reading. It also contributed to enhancing students’ motivation and encouraging them to develop their creative thinking skills.
