The College of Education Ibn Rushd for Humanities, University of Baghdad, discussed a master’s thesis entitled “The Impact of the Learning Windows Strategy on the Achievement of Geography among Fifth-Year Literary Students.” The thesis was submitted by Hisham Sameer Abd, a researcher in the Department of Geography, specializing in Geography Teaching Methods.

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Laith Hamoudi Ibrahim, with Prof. Dr. Najdat Abdulraouf as a member and supervisor, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Raad Jalal as a member. The committee also included the external member Assist. Prof. Dr. Haider Shakir Nayef from the College of Basic Education, Al-Mustansiriyah University.

The research aimed to identify the impact of the Learning Windows Strategy on the achievement of fifth-year literary students in geography and to develop their scientific thinking.

The study reached several conclusions, most notably that adopting the Learning Windows Strategy provides an interactive teaching and learning environment in which students become the center of the educational process. It also contributes to making classroom lessons more engaging and organized by diversifying activities and utilizing multiple learning windows. The study recommended applying the strategy at other educational levels, including primary and intermediate education.
