In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at developing the higher education system and implementing the principles of the Bologna Process, and under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza’a, Prof. Dr. Nidal Hanash Shabbar, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Registration, participated in the strategic workshop entitled “From Bologna Principles to Institutional Practice.”
The workshop was held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, and was presented by Turkish Professor Dr. Burak Arıkan. It was hosted by Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq University (PBUH).
The workshop featured a comprehensive academic discussion addressing the intellectual and practical foundations of the Bologna Process, as well as mechanisms for transitioning from theoretical principles to institutional implementation. The discussions focused on contributing to the development of academic programs, improving the quality of educational outcomes, and strengthening quality assurance and academic accreditation standards within higher education institutions.
This participation reflects Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities’ commitment to keeping pace with the latest international practices and experiences in higher education development, while enhancing the capacities of its academic and administrative leadership. It also supports the implementation of institutional development plans, contributes to improving academic and administrative performance, and advances the educational mission in pursuit of sustainable development goals in the higher education sector.
