Associate Dean of Scientific Affairs in our college, Professor Dr. Huda Abbas Qanbar, chaired the discussion committee of doctoral student Israa Fares Hassan in her thesis tagged the use of technology to improve information skills for electronic educational bags in the College of Medicine. The current study aims to study the types of technology associated with educational bags and the extent of their use, identify the information skills of educational bags, and study the types of educational bags for the Faculty of Medicine.
The study showed that the College of Medicine at Al-Mustansiriya University began producing electronic educational bags in 2017, relying on the Moodle program and conducting electronic tests within the program itself, and then began using the telegram program to create a bot for each stage within the program, so that when searching for any topic, an electronic lecture appears for it within the program. The study showed that information skills consist of (text information skills), (picture information skills), (video information skills) and (audio information skills). There is no central authority to produce an electronic educational bag in the College of Medicine at Al-Mustansiriya University, but rather relying on the efforts of the teaching staff to do so and the weakness in the use of special software to produce electronic educational bags in the College of Medicine at Al-Mustansiriya University.
