The College of Education for Humanities / Ibn Rushd at the University of Baghdad discussed a master’s thesis titled “The Effect of the Digital Storytelling Strategy on Acquiring Health Concepts Among Kindergarten Children” on Thursday, June 5, 2025. The thesis was submitted by the researcher Hiba Kadhim Jaloud from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, specializing in Curriculum and Teaching Methods.
The discussion committee consisted of Professor Dr. Zainab Hamza Raji (Chair), Professor Dr. Dawood Abdul-Salam Sabri (Member and Supervisor), Assistant Professor Dr. Nasser Khudair Sakran (Member), and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Dawood Salman as an external member from the College of Basic Education – University of Diyala.
The research aimed to shed light on one of the most critical stages in a person’s life—early childhood—which forms the foundation for cognitive, social, and emotional development. It is during this stage that children begin to acquire concepts, values, habits, attitudes, and traditions that shape their future personalities. During this period, children also develop various skills that contribute to their overall character formation.
