The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities at the University of Baghdad has obtained programmatic accreditation from the Iraqi National Council for Colleges of Education Group.

This makes it the first department in Iraq to achieve programmatic accreditation.
This step confirms the college’s commitment to providing high-quality education that meets international academic standards.

The programmatic accreditation process is a comprehensive process that includes an evaluation of all aspects of the college’s accredited academic program, including the approved curricula, teaching methods and approaches, college infrastructure, human and financial resources, as well as technical and technological aspects.

Programmatic accreditation also aims to promote the college’s continuous development and improve the quality of teaching, learning, scientific research, and community service, with the aim of meeting the changing demands of the labor market and achieving sustainable development goals. This academic achievement is the result of the tireless efforts of the college’s deanship, represented by Professor Dr. Alawi Sader Jazea, Dean of the College, and the combined efforts of the assistants and professors of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, with the aim of improving and developing academic programs to keep pace with modern requirements and meet the needs of students and society. Congratulations to all of us on this great academic achievement.
