Moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Amir Jasib Farih, the Department of English at the Ibn Rushd College of Education at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Research Writing.” Professor Dr. Diaa Mazhar, Assistant Lecturer Nibras Nihad, and Assistant Lecturer Ashwaq Sakr presented the workshop, which was attended by a number of graduate students.

The workshop addressed three main themes: identifying the types, fields, and applications related to artificial intelligence, and providing a detailed explanation of the programs used in artificial intelligence and how to apply them to graduate students.
The workshop aimed to prepare graduates with a high degree in the field of computing and artificial intelligence, in accordance with academic accreditation and quality standards. It also aimed to enhance students’ academic capabilities in their specializations through coordination with relevant business institutions, as well as developing students’ research capabilities to prepare them for graduate study using artificial intelligence. The workshop concluded with a series of recommendations, including the need to develop a policy for effectively integrating AI into education by establishing task forces focused on AI effectiveness, enhancing knowledge of all its aspects to support professional development, and continuing research and development in the field of AI.
