A master’s thesis discussing the evaluation of the performance of English language teachers as a foreign language in middle schools in light of the procedures described in the teacher’s book
A master’s thesis entitled “Evaluation of the performance of English language teachers as a foreign language in middle schools in light of the procedures described in the teacher’s book” by researcher Hamid Hassan Ali, specializing in teaching English, was discussed at Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities on Wednesday, 10/16/2024, in the English Language Hall. The discussion committee consisted of Professor Dr. Salam Hamid Abbas as Chairman, Professor Dr. Nagham Qaddouri Yahya as a member from Tikrit University / College of Education for Humanities, Assistant Professor Dr. Elaf Riyadh Khalil as a member, and Professor Dr. Diaa Mazhar Khuraibat as a member and supervisor.
The study aimed to evaluate the performance of English language teachers in the middle school stage in light of the procedures stipulated in the teacher’s book (English for Iraq). To achieve this goal, the researcher adopted the descriptive approach, and the results of the study showed that the performance of teachers at the stage The English language preparatory was mostly weak, and the results highlighted the importance of evaluation and the importance of teachers following the procedures stipulated in the teacher’s book.
