Ibn Rushd College of Education for Human Sciences witnessed the defense of a master’s thesis entitled “Responsibility Anxiety and Its Relationship to Decision-Making Among Security Personnel at Iraqi Airports”, submitted by researcher Nazim Latif Aboud from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, specializing in Psychological Operations.

The thesis defense committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Dawood Abdul Salam Sabri and included Professor Dr. Allawi Sader Jaza, Professor Dr. Saad Ali Zayer as member and supervisor, Professor Dr. Intisar Hashim Mahdi as member, and Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Maan as an external member representing the Ministry of Interior.

The study aimed to identify the differences in the correlational relationship between responsibility anxiety and decision-making among security personnel according to rank (officer or staff member) and years of service (less than or more than ten years). It also examined the relationship between responsibility anxiety and its influence on the decision-making process of security personnel.

The researcher adopted the descriptive research method (correlational study) due to its suitability for the research problem and objectives, as well as its effectiveness in examining relationships between different variables.
