Laboratory Overview
The English Language Department Laboratory is equipped with modern computers that meet all required safety standards, in addition to audio laboratories dedicated to teaching the English language. These facilities contribute to developing students’ linguistic competencies, particularly listening and pronunciation skills, in accordance with sound academic principles.

1. Introduction
The Computer Laboratory of the English Language Department for Undergraduate Studies is one of the academic units of the College of Education Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences. The laboratory provides audio devices and modern technologies that assist students in improving the quality of English pronunciation. It also plays a vital role in equipping students with sufficient knowledge and experience in the use of electronic systems.
Furthermore, the laboratory aims to train students in computer skills and the use of various software applications, such as Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), as well as the effective use of the Internet for academic purposes. In addition, students are trained on how to use and join electronic classrooms. The laboratory is utilized for teaching students at a rate of one practical hour per week.
2. Vision, Mission, and Objectives of the Laboratory
Vision
To supply the community with graduates and students who possess essential computer skills and proficiency in various software applications and Internet usage, along with the adoption of modern teaching methods that enable them to transfer these skills and knowledge effectively to their students.
Mission
To train students in computer skills and the use of various software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Internet applications and electronic classroom systems, in support of the educational process.
Objectives
Developing students’ skills in listening and English language courses.
Enabling students to apply computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint effectively.
Enhancing students’ overall computer and digital competencies in academic contexts.
Utilizing the Internet for scientific and academic purposes, including the preparation of graduation research projects.
Strengthening academic communication through the use of electronic classrooms between faculty members and students.
