The Council of the Faculty of Education Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences – Baghdad University is the highest authority in the faculty. Its duties are determined in the holding of regular weekly meetings or extraordinary sessions to discuss important real-time developments during the meetings. Projects and activities, conducted by the college, are examined and appropriate decisions are taken in order to ensure, at the basic level, the requirements of the College’s interest. The Council discusses student affairs, reports and proposals submitted by scientific branches and scientific committees for the purpose of studying and approving them and implementing their provisions in accordance with the instructions, regulations, and powers. The meetings are documented and are to be sent to the University Presidency for the purpose of ratification.
Some professors with proposals are invited for discussions. The Council hosts directors of the college’s divisions, administrative, and scientific units Heads are also hosted to consider problems facing their work for finding appropriate solutions.
