The First Session : 8 September 2025
The College Council held its first (morning) session at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, 8 September 2025, in the College Council Meeting Hall. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, Chairman of the Council, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.
The Council discussed and approved the following decisions:
Commitment to official working hours and monitoring compliance through the Heads of Academic Departments and the Assistant Deans for Morning and Evening Studies, in accordance with the approved schedules.
Adherence to the prescribed course content approved by the Deans’ Committee when teaching undergraduate programs, with no deviation from the approved syllabus.
Encouraging students to participate in social activities organized by the College, including voluntary and awareness-raising activities.
Promoting voluntary work among all College staff members.
Promoting and raising awareness of applications to the evening study programs at the University of Baghdad colleges.
Encouraging scientific publication and increasing citation rates.
The Second Session: 16 September 2025
The College Council held its second (morning) session at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, in the College Council Meeting Hall. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, Chairman of the Council, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.
The Council discussed and approved the following decisions:

The College Council held its third (morning) session at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, in the College Council Meeting Hall. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, Chairman of the Council, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.
The Council discussed and approved the following decisions:
Encouraging scientific publication and increasing citation rates.
Exchanging expertise between universities through visiting professors.
Urging students to adhere to official working hours, as well as to comply with the uniform policy, and monitoring this compliance.
Following up on faculty promotion procedures within our college and facilitating any related difficulties.
Encouraging students to participate in social activities organized by the College, including voluntary and awareness-raising activities.
Discussing the minutes of departmental meetings and providing opinions thereon.
The Fourth Session: 21 October 2025
The College Council held its fourth (morning) session at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, in the College Council Meeting Hall. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, Chairman of the Council, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.
The Council discussed and approved the following decisions:
Encouraging scientific publication and increasing citation rates.
Completing the procedures for the graduation ceremony for the academic year 2024/2025.
Urging students to adhere to official working hours, as well as to comply with the uniform policy, and monitoring this compliance.
Encouraging students to comply with rules and regulations and to preserve the College’s property.
Adhering to official working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Setting the comprehensive exam date on Sunday, 2 November 2025.
Discussing the minutes of departmental meetings and providing opinions thereon.
The Fifth Session: 4 November 2025
The College Council held its fifth (morning) session at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, in the College Council Meeting Hall. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, Chairman of the Council, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.
The Council discussed and approved the following decisions:
Encouraging scientific publication, increasing citation rates, and monitoring progress in this regard.
Monitoring the issue of smoking within the College and taking legal action against violators.
Urging students to comply with rules and regulations and to preserve the College’s property.
Completing and following up on the (SIS) procedures through specialized committees in the academic departments.
Paying attention to, maintaining, and ensuring the safety of the College’s infrastructure.
Discussing the minutes of departmental meetings and providing opinions thereon.
The Sixth Session: 25 November 2025
The College Council held its sixth (morning) session at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, in the College Council Meeting Hall. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, Chairman of the Council, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.
The Council discussed and approved the following decisions:
Encouraging scientific publication, increasing citation rates, and monitoring progress in this regard.
Discussing faculty promotions, paying attention to them, and addressing any issues that may arise.
Following up on the College’s inventory committees and completing the work as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
Urging students to comply with rules and regulations and to preserve the College’s property.
Maintaining and safeguarding the College’s infrastructure and ensuring its safety.
Discussing the minutes of departmental meetings and providing opinions thereon.
The Seventh Session: 16 December 2025
The College Council convened its seventh (morning) session at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the College Council Meeting Hall. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, Chair of the Council, and was attended by the esteemed members of the Council.
At the outset of the meeting, the Chair of the Council welcomed the esteemed members and wished them continued health and well-being.
The Chair then proceeded to present the following matters:
Emphasizing the promotion of scientific publication and increasing citation rates, and monitoring this matter through encouraging and guiding academic staff.
Hosting Asst. Prof. Dr. Noor Nizam Al-Din Najm Al-Din, Head of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Unit, to discuss the institutional accreditation file.
Following up on the College’s infrastructure and ensuring the provision of a healthy and safe environment for students.
Urging students to adhere to laws and regulations and to preserve the College’s property.
Giving due attention to the College’s infrastructure, maintaining it, and ensuring its safety.
Discussing the minutes of departmental meetings and expressing opinions on the items therein.
