Hail to those who gathered in the courtyard of Education,
God bless you, people of knowledge and erudition.

This house welcomes all who arrive in cheer,
With smiles you find it, never weary from dedication here.

Poetry inspires, and knowledge is its aim,
Faith supports it, logic adding to its fame.

It opened a door to glory that will never close,
And those who strive march forward, unshaken by throes.

Your light shone across the earth as it arose,
From you the suns gleam, their brightness never enclosed.

If I could, I’d count all who passed along,
But they are many, giving endlessly, strong.

Among them is poet Al-Sayyab, creative and wise,
And Abi Jawad, a scholar of Arab ties.

And Nasser al-Khair, logic’s steadfast defender,
With tears in my eyes, his memory I remember.

Your knowledge did not die, its warmth still flows,
Your presence guided us, your light never goes.

As for Abi Daqouq, history gave him birth,
With dreams and knowledge, a mind of rare worth.

And the unique Fahd al-Fathl, his smile inspires,
In hearts of people, both good and trials he acquires.

O people of Education, may God keep you safe,
From all harm, from all grief, from every chafe.

I still recall the seasoned knights of yore,
Whose views on virtue shone like sparks of lore.

As long as men remain among us, few compare,
They walked, their knowledge raining down like air.
