About E-Learning
An introductory overview of the unit:
The Unit works on training the faculty members on using digital content and the ability to transfer the scientific curricula to digital ones. Likewise, they work on transferring learning from the common pattern to the digital pattern that goes in harmony with the general concept of learning outcomes.
Tasks of Ibn Sina unit for Electronic Learning
1. Using modern media and educational methodologies.
2. Placement of communication technologies for learning, development, and exchanging of educational sources.
3. Monitoring of digital content quality.
4. Dissemination of the culture of electronic learning in university educational communities through training courses, workshops, and seminars.
5. Management and follow-up electronic learning platform.
6. Digital designing of curricula in coordination with contact members in the scientific departments.
7. Periodic review of the faculty members' activities on electronic learning platforms in all the scientific departments.
8. Follow up on and direct the contact members to serve the electronic learning sector in all the colleges of the University.
Vision of the Unit:
The Ibn Sina E-Learning Unit aims to support faculty members and students and support them in utilizing and developing communication and information technologies to improve the level of educational service provided by the college to students and to serve the community.
The vision of Ibn Sina Unit for Electronic Learning is represented in enabling educational facilities to create suitable educational environments for all levels in different fields and majors. This can be achieved by applying technology and concepts of electronic learning and its multi-systems in the whole educational and academic process to initiate an interactive, open, and developed educational method that focuses on thinking and creativity according to quality criteria and academic accreditation. Moreover, it creates a sound and advanced position for higher education at the universities in Iraq and all over the world.
Message of the Unit:
The principle message of Ibn Sina Unit for Electronic Learning is represented in developing electronic learning skills as one of the developed methods that support the academic educational process. Electronic learning includes all the universal educational activities, and it endeavors to present an interactional educational environment that merges a group of interactional electronic tools from multiple sources by using various modern communication media, whether synchronously or asynchronously, between learners and teachers.

2. Developing the academics and the students' skills in the scope of electronic learning.
3. Providing educational methods that depend on employing electronic learning techniques.
4. Utilizing the faculty members' time in real and distinguished participation in electronic learning.
5. Hold intensive courses and organize workshops that play a role in developing electronic learning for all university members.
6. Promoting positive directions toward information techniques through using platforms by teachers and students.
