College of Education – Ibn Rushd for Humanities
Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the formation of industrial advisory councils in universities and colleges, the Industrial Advisory Council has been established at the College of Education – Ibn Rushd for Humanities.
The council aims to develop and advance the scientific landscape and to strengthen the foundations of the educational and research process in line with global developments in the field of education. Moreover, it seeks to reinforce the college’s vision and core values, which are centered on skill and education.


Purpose – The Industrial Advisory Council shall undertake the following roles and responsibilities:

Support the college in the continuous improvement of its work environment and community engagement activities that foster productive relationships.

Ensure appropriate involvement of industry stakeholders and employers in the development of new academic programs and the review of existing ones in line with labor market demands.

Provide recommendations regarding the attributes of graduates from the College of Education – Ibn Rushd for Human Sciences to ensure alignment with labor market requirements.

Offer guidance and advice on the development of the college’s curricula to ensure alignment with industry needs and international standards.

Recommend essential skills and technologies to be included in the college’s extracurricular activities.

Support and promote the college’s programs.

Support academic activities and initiatives within the college.
- Provide consultancy to institutions based on the departments and academic expertise of the college’s faculty.
- Propose mechanisms that contribute to achieving the college’s vision, mission, and objectives within the community.
- Receive feedback from business sectors and update academic curricula with relevant modern topics and required skills.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the college’s strategic plans.
- Participate in the development of the college’s programs and curricula in accordance with labor market requirements.
