{"id":6227,"date":"2026-08-27T08:46:15","date_gmt":"2026-08-27T08:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.ircoedu.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6227"},"modified":"2026-08-27T08:46:29","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T08:46:29","slug":"quran-memorizers-channel-e-application-portal-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.ircoedu.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6227","title":{"rendered":"Qur\u2019an Memorizers Channel: E-Application Portal Launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"82\" data-end=\"319\">The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the <strong data-start=\"167\" data-end=\"234\">Electronic Application Portal for the Qur\u2019an Memorizers Channel<\/strong>, open to graduates of preparatory education across all branches and specializations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"321\" data-end=\"582\">The Ministry stated that applications can be submitted through the <strong data-start=\"388\" data-end=\"406\">Qadam Platform<\/strong> application or via the <strong data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"472\">Studies, Planning and Follow-up Portal<\/strong>: <span class=\"contents\" data-content-reference-start=\"474\" data-content-reference-end=\"539\"><span class=\"\" data-state=\"closed\"><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/dirasat.mohesr.gov.iq?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/dirasat.mohesr.gov.iq<\/a><\/span><\/span>. Applications will remain open until <strong data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"581\">Thursday, September 24, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"864\">The application is open to students currently enrolled at public and private universities at all academic levels, as well as graduates of the <strong data-start=\"726\" data-end=\"761\">2025\u20132026 preparatory education<\/strong> year, across all branches and specializations, who have memorized the <strong data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"863\">Holy Qur\u2019an in its entirety<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"866\" data-end=\"1195\">The Ministry urges applicants to follow the official website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the announcement of the results of the Qur\u2019an memorization examination. The examinations will be conducted by a specialized committee comprising international judges at the following designated locations:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1756\">\n<li data-section-id=\"r2vbth\" data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1489\"><strong data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1252\">National Center for Qur\u2019anic Sciences in Baghdad<\/strong>, Palestine Street, near the Turkmen Club, as well as the <strong data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1346\">Iraqi Center for the Holy Qur\u2019an<\/strong>, Al-Sabaa Abkar Complex, for applicants from the governorates of <strong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1466\">Baghdad, Salah Al-Din, Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Diyala<\/strong>, both male and female.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1g5wv5m\" data-start=\"1491\" data-end=\"1608\"><strong data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1537\">Dar Al-Qur\u2019an Al-Kareem in Holy Karbala<\/strong>, for female applicants from the <strong data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1607\">central and southern governorates<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1baca7m\" data-start=\"1610\" data-end=\"1756\"><strong data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1687\">Qur\u2019an Institute affiliated with the Abbasid Holy Shrine in Holy Najaf<\/strong>, for male applicants from the <strong data-start=\"1718\" data-end=\"1755\">central and southern governorates<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-section-id=\"17lkfmm\" data-start=\"1758\" data-end=\"1803\">Benefits of the Qur\u2019an Memorizers Channel<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1805\" data-end=\"2257\">It is worth noting that the <strong data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1862\">Qur\u2019an Memorizers Channel<\/strong> provides a number of educational benefits for students who have fully memorized the Holy Qur\u2019an. These include a <strong data-start=\"1976\" data-end=\"2009\">30% reduction in tuition fees<\/strong> for students admitted to or continuing their studies through the <strong data-start=\"2075\" data-end=\"2131\">Private Education Channel at Government Universities<\/strong>, as well as a <strong data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2179\">50% reduction in tuition fees<\/strong> for students admitted to or continuing their studies in <strong data-start=\"2236\" data-end=\"2256\">evening programs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2259\" data-end=\"2590\">Furthermore, students admitted to or continuing their studies through the <strong data-start=\"2333\" data-end=\"2373\">Private University Education Channel<\/strong> are <strong data-start=\"2378\" data-end=\"2406\">exempt from tuition fees<\/strong>, subject to an annual examination conducted at the beginning of each academic year by the competent committee to verify that students continue to have the Holy Qur\u2019an fully memorized.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2592\" data-end=\"3017\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The benefits also include allocating <strong data-start=\"2629\" data-end=\"2662\">2% of Central Admission seats<\/strong> across all specializations, with an admission score up to <strong data-start=\"2721\" data-end=\"2779\">three points below the minimum Central Admission score<\/strong> for the <strong data-start=\"2788\" data-end=\"2815\">2026\u20132027 academic year<\/strong>. This benefit will apply after the electronic application form is made available to graduates of the <strong data-start=\"2917\" data-end=\"2944\">2025\u20132026 academic year<\/strong>, enabling them
