He also highlighted the importance of aligning higher education and research outcomes with the needs of the labor market and productive sectors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"1172\">For his part, the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Atiya, stressed the importance of developing the university environment and strengthening the connection between academic knowledge and economic applications, contributing to transforming scientific ideas and research outcomes into applicable projects and solutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1524\">The workshop included specialized lectures delivered by experts from Clarivate, addressing the foundations of building an integrated university system for knowledge and innovation management, mechanisms for transferring knowledge and technologies from universities to productive sectors, as well as a review of relevant experiences and practices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1815\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The workshop also featured a scientific discussion on ways to develop an innovation-friendly environment in Iraqi universities, strengthen partnerships with the public and private sectors, and transform scientific research outcomes into
