The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Dawood Abdul-Salam Sabri, with Assist. Prof. Dr. Abbas Lafta Hassan serving as a member and supervisor, along with a number of distinguished faculty members from the department. Assist. Prof. Dr. Huda Hadi Khamis also joined the committee as an external member representing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/p>\n
The study aimed to develop a training program based on Cathy Moore\u2019s model of microteaching within practical education, with the purpose of helping fourth-year students in colleges of education acquire teaching skills and evaluating the effectiveness of the program.<\/p>\n
The findings revealed significant differences in the acquisition of teaching skills in favor of the group that studied according to the training program based on Cathy Moore\u2019s model of microteaching. These findings emphasize the importance of incorporating microteaching as an integral part of teacher education curricula, as it provides students with opportunities for practical application, feedback, and improvement of teaching effectiveness.<\/p>\n
