{"id":6032,"date":"2026-07-26T10:32:22","date_gmt":"2026-07-26T10:32:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.ircoedu.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6032"},"modified":"2026-07-26T10:32:22","modified_gmt":"2026-07-26T10:32:22","slug":"mocse-program-effectiveness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.ircoedu.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6032","title":{"rendered":"MOCSE Program Effectiveness"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-assistant-stream-block=\"\" data-assistant-stream-block-index=\"1\">The College of\u00a0Education for Human\u00a0Sciences \u2013 Ibn Rushd\u00a0at the University\u00a0of Baghdad held\u00a0the public defense\u00a0of a doctoral\u00a0dissertation on Wednesday\u00a0morning entitled:\u00a0&#8220;The Effectiveness of\u00a0an Educational Program\u00a0Based on the\u00a0MOCSE Model on\u00a0Students&#8217; Achievement in\u00a0Guidance and Mental\u00a0Health and Its\u00a0Impact on the\u00a0Quality of the\u00a0Educational Environment\u00a0among Students of\u00a0Colleges of Education.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-assistant-stream-block=\"\" data-assistant-stream-block-index=\"2\">The dissertation was\u00a0presented by\u00a0Ms. Nasreen Nasser\u00a0Khalaf, a doctoral candidate\u00a0from the Department\u00a0of Educational and\u00a0Psychological Sciences,\u00a0specializing in Curriculum\u00a0and\u00a0Methods of Teaching.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-assistant-stream-block=\"\" data-assistant-stream-block-index=\"3\">The examination committee\u00a0was chaired by\u00a0Prof. Dr. Dawood\u00a0Abdul Salam Sabri, with\u00a0Prof. Dr. Manal\u00a0Mohammed Ibrahim\u00a0serving as both\u00a0supervisor and committee\u00a0member,\u00a0in addition to\u00a0a distinguished panel\u00a0of faculty members\u00a0from the department.\u00a0Prof. Dr. Khalid\u00a0Jamal Hamdi\u00a0from the College\u00a0of Education for\u00a0Human Sciences, University\u00a0of Diyala, participated\u00a0as the\u00a0external examiner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-assistant-stream-block=\"\" data-assistant-stream-block-index=\"4\">The study aimed to develop an educational program based on the\u00a0MOCSE\u00a0model and examine its effectiveness in improving students&#8217; achievement in the Guidance and Mental Health course, as well as its\u00a0contribution to enhancing\u00a0the quality of\u00a0the educational environment\u00a0among students of\u00a0Colleges of Education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-assistant-stream-block=\"\" data-assistant-stream-block-index=\"5\">The findings revealed\u00a0that the MOCSE-based educational program\u00a0significantly\u00a0improved students&#8217; academic\u00a0achievement\u00a0by organizing learning\u00a0experiences in a\u00a0coherent, engaging, and\u00a0meaningful manner. This\u00a0approach enabled students\u00a0to develop a\u00a0deeper understanding of\u00a0the concepts presented\u00a0in the Guidance\u00a0and Mental Health\u00a0course. The improvement\u00a0in\u00a0academic performance was\u00a0also attributed to\u00a0the program&#8217;s use\u00a0of interactive teaching\u00a0strategies,\u00a0which promoted active\u00a0student participation in\u00a0the learning process,\u00a0increased attention, and\u00a0strengthened motivation\u00a0toward learning.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
