The committee\u00a0also included a\u00a0distinguished group of\u00a0faculty\u00a0members from the\u00a0Department of History, in addition to\u00a0Professor Dr. Haider\u00a0Shakir Khamees\u00a0from the College\u00a0of Education, Al-Mustansiriyah University, who participated as\u00a0an external examiner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-assistant-stream-block=\"\" data-assistant-stream-block-index=\"4\">The dissertation aimed\u00a0to examine the\u00a0development of the\u00a0labor movement in\u00a0the United States\u00a0during the period\u00a0from\u00a01935 to 1964, a pivotal era\u00a0in modern American\u00a0social, economic, and political history.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-assistant-stream-block=\"\" data-assistant-stream-block-index=\"4\">The study concluded that the American labor movement achieved significant progress in terms of its legal legitimacy and its social and political standing. It contributed substantially to improving workers&#8217; conditions and expanding the concept of social justice, particularly through its support for civil rights causes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-assistant-stream-block=\"\" data-assistant-stream-block-index=\"4\">Furthermore, the labor movement played a vital role in organizing industrial production and maintaining economic stability during the Second World War.\u00a0Its cooperation with\u00a0the federal government\u00a0helped reduce industrial\u00a0disputes, strengthen wartime production mobilization, and ensure the\u00a0continuous operation of\u00a0factories and other\u00a0essential sectors in\u00a0support of the\u00a0national war effort.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
