<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities at the University of Baghdad held the defense of a master’s thesis entitled \u201cThe Effect of the Answer Sequencing Strategy on Fifth-Grade Preparatory Students\u2019 Achievement in Kurdish Grammar and Their Attitudes Toward the Subject\u201d, presented by Miqdad Abdul Hassan Nima, a master’s candidate from the Department of Kurdish Language specializing in Methods of Teaching Kurdish Language.<\/p>\n
The examination committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mahabad Abdul Karim Ahmed, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sabah Jalil Khalil serving as both supervisor and committee member, and Asst. Prof. Sarod Wali Ismail as a committee member. The committee also included Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Hassan Mohammed from Al-Imam Al-Sadiq University as an external examiner.<\/p>\n
The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the Answer Sequencing Strategy in improving fifth-grade preparatory students’ achievement in Kurdish grammar and enhancing their attitudes toward the subject.<\/p>\n
The findings demonstrated that the Answer Sequencing Strategy had a significant positive impact on students’ academic achievement by enabling them to connect prior knowledge with newly acquired concepts through a structured sequence of learning activities. The strategy also contributed to fostering more positive attitudes toward Kurdish grammar compared with conventional teaching methods.<\/p>\n
Based on these findings, the researcher recommended the adoption of modern instructional models and teaching strategies in place of traditional approaches. The study further emphasized the importance of encouraging teachers, particularly Kurdish language instructors, to incorporate contemporary teaching strategies, including the Answer Sequencing Strategy, into classroom practice.<\/p>\n
