Under the slogan \u201cOne Hundred and Three Years of Giving and Excellence,\u201d the activities of the Eighth International Scientific Conference, entitled \u201cKnowledge Integration in Educational and Social Studies,\u201d commenced on Wednesday morning, April 1, 2026, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers from various universities around the world.<\/p>\n
The conference opened with a recitation from the Holy Qur\u2019an, followed by the Iraqi national anthem. A documentary film was then presented, highlighting the history of the college and its contributions to supporting educational institutions through in-depth scientific research.<\/p>\n
In his address, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alawi Sader Jaza, warmly welcomed the attendees and emphasized the significance of this conference. He noted that issues related to sustainable development and artificial intelligence have recently gained considerable importance and must be actively integrated into the humanities disciplines, in line with other fields, to enhance educational and pedagogical outcomes.<\/p>\n
For his part, Dr. Mohammed Abdulwahid Jiyas, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, highlighted in his speech the effectiveness of digital transformations and their impact on the academic landscape across various dimensions. He stressed the importance of employing these transformations to serve the humanities disciplines and achieve quality indicators, noting that the college has been at the forefront of such initiatives. He also expressed his sincere appreciation to all organizers, participants, and attendees for their commitment to ensuring the continuity of the conference, despite the official holiday declared by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on the occasion of the Iraqi national team\u2019s qualification for the FIFA World Cup finals.<\/p>\n
Following the opening session, the conference committees commenced discussions of research papers addressing a range of vital and significant topics among these were studies concerning Khor Abdullah Al-Tamimi, focusing on its geographical importance and economic dimensions. The conference also featured the participation of international researchers via online communication platforms, contributing to discussions in a highly organized and seamless manner to ensure the achievement of its objectives.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that the college had announced the conference in March, attracting wide participation from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities. A total of 200 research papers were submitted, of which 150 were accepted, while 114 papers were published in the Iraqi Journal for Human, Social, and Scientific Research.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
