The Dean Prof. Dr. Allawi Sadir Jazie has received, in his office, a member of the Iraqi Parliament, Mr. Qais Al – Fartousi. Al – Fartousi mentioned that Ibn Rushd is a landmark and historical monument worthy of praise and attention, and he stressed the need to distance university institutions from any political activity, because it is concerned with raising the generation, preparing leaders for the country. He thanked the Dean for his national positions, and his good management of this important scientific detail. From his part, Sadir thanked the guest for his compliments and praises, and stressed the need for Parliament to support scientific research, and contribute to monitoring sufficient financial allocations to the Ministry of Education, so that, it can compete with the international universities on advanced ranks in their classifications and rankings. Al- Fartousi promised to adopt his sovereignty \u2019s proposal and transfer it to the House of Representatives, and reiterated his thanks to the Dean of the College for the nice reception and hospitality .<\/p>\n
