Under the patronage of the Dean of the Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Alawi Sader Jazea, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Wahid Jiyas, and the supervision of Dr. Sakna Abdul Razzaq, Director of the Student Activities Division, Dr. Nidal Hashim Ghafil, Head of the Scouting Activity Unit, and Mr. Haider Hussein Saleh.<\/p>\n

The Student Activities Division \/ Scouting Activity Unit in our college held a scouting workshop entitled (Fundamentals of the Scouting Movement) in cooperation with the Scouting Division in the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls, and the College of Arts on Monday 11\/25\/2024.
\nThe workshop, which was lectured by Assistant Professor Nibal Karim Adnan Abdullah, Assistant Professor Alia Hussein Farhan, and Assistant Professor Abdullah Adnan Muhammad, aims to improve the reality of youth to contribute to building Iraqi society.
\nThe workshop included an introduction to scouting work that aims to instill the spirit of order, obedience, helping others, love of the homeland and belonging to this homeland. It also addressed the scouting history in Iraq, which was established during the Ottoman rule. It also addressed the foundations on which the scouting movement is based and explained the symbols carried by the scouting logo, including the rope and the square knot, in addition to the two stars.
\nFor its part, the workshop confirmed the interest of male and female students in joining the scouting activities organized by the scouting division at the University of Baghdad from time to time. The scouting teams receive educational courses related to the principles of scouting values, in addition to other aspects related to saluting the flag and other activities.<\/p>\n
